This VDR lock assembly is designed specifically for Porch-Lift landing gates, providing dependable gate locking functionality through a complete, integrated mechanism. The assembly includes the latch hook, gate contacts, spring bracket assembly, folding elbow with rubber gasket, and a pre-configured wiring harness for streamlined integration.
Available in both left-hand and right-hand configurations, this lock replaces legacy part numbers 59487 (left-hand) and 59486 (right-hand).
Hand orientation is determined by standing outside the lift cab and facing inward: Left-hand units mount on the left side of the gate, while right-hand units mount on the right. This component is intended strictly for landing gate applications and should not be confused with the platform interlock assembly, which serves a different function within the lift system.
