Shipping Protection Claims Policy
Lift Parts Pro offers optional Shipping Protection at checkout to protect your order from loss, damage, or delivery issues while in transit.
If Shipping Protection is purchased, eligible issues may be resolved with a replacement or refund according to the policy below.
Covered Situations
Shipping Protection covers the following circumstances:
Damaged in Transit
Your order arrived damaged during shipping.
Lost in Transit
The package was lost during shipment and tracking never shows a completed delivery.
Delivered but Missing
Tracking indicates the package was delivered, but it was not received.
Claim Requirements
To submit a claim, the following conditions must be met:
- Shipping Protection must have been purchased at checkout.
- Claims must be submitted within 7 days of delivery (or expected delivery date for lost shipments).
- The order must have been shipped to the address provided at checkout.
Additional documentation may be required depending on the situation.
Documentation Requirements
Damaged in Transit
Please provide:
- Photo of the damaged item
- Photo of the packaging
- Photo of the shipping label
This helps us verify the damage and improve packaging and carrier handling.
Lost in Transit
Claims may be submitted if tracking shows no delivery and the carrier has exceeded the expected delivery timeframe.
Lift Parts Pro may wait until the carrier officially classifies the package as lost before issuing a replacement or refund.
Delivered but Missing
If tracking shows delivered but the package is missing:
- Please check around your delivery location (porch, garage, side door, mailbox area).
- Check with household members and neighbors.
- Contact us within 7 days of the delivery scan.
If the package cannot be located, we will review the claim and assist with a replacement or refund.
What Is Not Covered
Shipping Protection does not cover:
- Orders shipped to an incorrect address entered at checkout
- Packages forwarded or redirected after shipment
- Delays caused by carriers
- Packages held or delayed by customs (international shipments)
- Incorrect items ordered by the customer
- Packages reported missing more than 7 days after delivery
Resolution
Approved claims may be resolved with:
- Replacement of the item, or
- Refund of the purchase price
Lift Parts Pro reserves the right to determine the appropriate resolution depending on the situation.
Orders Without Shipping Protection
If Shipping Protection was not purchased, customers may still contact us for assistance. However, resolution will require the completion of a carrier investigation, and any reimbursement will be limited to the carrier’s default liability coverage.
Purchasing Shipping Protection ensures faster resolution and full coverage for eligible shipping issues.
