This wrought flush pull provides a compact, recessed finger grip for elevator landing doors without the projection of a conventional surface-mounted handle. Its universal, non-proprietary design makes it suitable for a variety of elevator landing door applications without tying the replacement hardware to a specific elevator manufacturer or proprietary door system.
The flush profile is particularly beneficial on private residence elevator landing doors where minimizing projections can help support clearance-conscious installations. ASME A17.1 requirements commonly referred to as the “3/4 & 4 rule” establish maximum clearances between swing landing doors, landing sills, and elevator car doors or gates. A recessed finger pull helps preserve valuable clearance compared with projecting door-pull hardware. Final code compliance depends on the complete entrance configuration and locally adopted code requirements.
Available finishes include Satin Stainless Steel, Bright Brass, Oil-Rubbed Bronze, Dark Oxidized Bronze, Black Suede Powder Coat, and White Powder Coat. Additional finishes may be available by request for coordination with existing elevator entrances and architectural hardware.
