High‑performance SR‑type elevator door interlock for single‑swing doors (left or right hand) compatible with retiring‑cam systems

This SR Type Elevator Interlock is designed for use in modern lift systems or retrofit installations where a retiring cam actuates the locking mechanism.
The interlock device is not OEM‑specific and fits any application requiring a Type SR interlock for single‑swing elevator doors.
Two auxiliary contact sets monitor door‑closed and door‑locked positions. The variant selection allows for either a left‑hand or right‑hand configuration — the left‑hand version is mounted on the left side of the door jamb when standing inside the elevator cab looking out into the hallway; the right‑hand version mounts on the opposite side.

These interlocks are built for reliability and long service life, with heavy‑duty cast metal housing, welded latch and roller arm, self‑cleaning contacts and conventional 250 V AC/DC rating. The device mounts to the door frame or jamb and interfaces with the retiring cam roller arm to lock and release the door as the landing cam retracts. Because these units are universal Type SR interlocks, they offer flexible compatibility across multiple elevator makes and models, for new construction or modernization.
