Designed for most RAM Trust-T-Lift 550 (TTL550) vertical platform lifts, this replacement package includes two precision-machined brass drive nuts for the lift's ACME drive screw assembly. The high-strength brass construction is intentionally selected as a sacrificial wear material, allowing the drive nut to wear gradually over years of service while helping protect the hardened steel drive screw from unnecessary wear and damage. Replacing worn drive nuts at the appropriate service interval helps maintain proper lift performance and preserves the condition of the drive screw.
RAM Trust-T-Lift vertical platform lifts utilize a dual-nut design that provides an added layer of mechanical safety. During normal operation, the primary drive nut supports and moves the platform. As the primary nut naturally wears over time, the internal threads gradually diminish. If the primary nut reaches the end of its service life, the platform is designed to transfer onto a secondary backup nut, preventing a free-fall. This package includes both brass nuts used in this dual-nut arrangement, making it an ideal replacement when servicing the drive assembly.
