This bronze safety nut is designed for use in select ThyssenKrupp Access Porch-Lift RA models, serving as a critical secondary load-bearing component within the screw drive train assembly. Installed near the top of the drive system, it functions as a backup nut to support the platform in the event of primary drive nut wear.
Manufactured from durable bearing-grade bronze, this nut provides excellent resistance to friction, wear, and galling when paired with a steel lead screw. Its precision-machined internal threading ensures smooth engagement and reliable long-term performance in vertical lifting applications. This component replaces units originally equipped with legacy #55046 configurations.
