This hydraulic pump motor start solenoid is designed to engage the lift motor in vertical platform lifts. Commonly referred to as an “up solenoid” or “start switch,” it serves as a compatible replacement for outdated or side-stud units originally used in Porch-Lift systems and National Wheel-O-Vator applications. While the original solenoids featured bolt studs mounted on the side, this updated design places the bolt studs on top, which may require an alternative wiring route. Despite the layout change, it has proven to be a reliable, functional substitution.
