Precision F205 one-inch bore square bearing UC205-16 for select VPL ACME screw drive lifts originally equipped with #35259.
This pillow block bearing assembly is engineered to replace the worn top and bottom units in select Garaventa and Genesis vertical platform lifts (VPLs).
Designed around a 1″ bore, four‑bolt flange housing with a robust cast iron exterior and high‑quality chrome steel insert ball bearing, it supports the ACME screw with dependable load‑carrying capacity and smooth rotational performance.
The insert bearing is precision fitted and features a set‑screw locking design for secure shaft retention, suitable for normal industrial duty.
Its sealed bearing design helps protect internal components from dust and contaminants, while relubrication capability extends service life under typical operating conditions.
Specifications:
- Bore Diameter: 1 inch / 25.4 mm — matches ACME screw shafts requiring this size.
- Housing Material: Cast iron for structural rigidity.
- Mounting: Four‑bolt square flange for secure installation.
- Bearing Insert Material: Chrome steel single‑row ball bearing with sealed design.
- Locking Method: Set screw on insert to prevent shaft slippage.
- Relubrication: Grease fitting provided for maintenance.
- Dynamic Load Capacity: Approximately 3,100 lbf / ~14 kN.
- Static Load Capacity: Approximately 1,770 lbf / ~7.9 kN.
For optimal performance and longevity of your vertical platform lift’s drive system, it is recommended to replace both the upper and lower pillow block bearing assemblies at the same time, as they typically wear concurrently. Simultaneous replacement helps ensure even movement of the ACME screw and reduces the likelihood of vibration or premature failure. Always have replacement bearings installed by qualified service personnel following all applicable safety and equipment guidelines.
