GAL Type N Elevator Interlock | Side-Wall Shaft

This GAL Type N interlock is a universal, non-proprietary elevator door safety component used with conventional swing-door entrances. Its standardized design makes it suitable for a wide range of independent, package, and legacy elevator installations that use compatible Type N interlock arrangements.

The interlock is configured with the lock shaft pointing toward the side wall rather than toward the back of the elevator car. A surface-style keeper and standard roller arm provide the corresponding mechanical arrangement for this configuration. Left-hand and right-hand versions are available to accommodate the required lock or strike-jamb orientation.
