This SELM5 Selector PCB serves as the electronic interface within an elevator selector system, supporting continuous determination of the elevator car’s position as it travels through the hoistway. Position information is communicated to the microprocessor-based control system so the elevator can coordinate operational points along its travel.
The board supports the selector functions used to establish floor locations, slowdown points, stopping positions, and door zones. This position feedback allows the control system to coordinate car movement with programmed landing locations and leveling requirements. It is intended for EMI Porta selector applications used in legacy modernization, existing-system retrofit, and new elevator installations and is not specific to an elevator brand or model.
