A continuous‑duty AC brake solenoid rated at 120 V used to replace legacy units #57602 in ThyssenKrupp Access PLS lifts and #M10898 in Cheney Handi‑Lift systems.

This solenoid is a laminated‑type, pull‑style brake solenoid engineered for continuous duty applications. With a stroke capability from 1/8″ to 1″ and strong pull force across that range, it matches the application demands of aging platform lift systems. This unit is commonly used to replace the legacy #57602 in ThyssenKrupp (Access Porch‑Lift / PLS) units and the legacy #M10898 in Cheney or select Cheney Handi‑Lift installations. Many lift operators choose it for retrofit or repair when original brake solenoids are no longer manufactured.

It is built with a corrosion‑resistant laminated steel frame, a durable plunger and guide assembly, and Class A coil insulation. The solenoid is configured with solder‑lug coil terminals and is rated for continuous duty at 120 V AC. Its dimensions and mounting pattern allow drop-in replacement in many classic lift brake systems.

Specifications

Given its matching electrical, mechanical, and dimensional attributes, this solenoid also offers a practical replacement path when original brake solenoids are obsolete. Always confirm fit, mounting dimensions, and plunger geometry before ordering.

This solenoid is designed for safe operation in properly assembled braking systems. For reliable performance, it should be installed by qualified maintenance personnel and evaluated within the context of the overall lift brake design.
